Direct mail delivery check service launched for volume users

Accentika Internet has introduced a report service for users of Interspire's Emailmarketer mailing application that will help identify potential problems that could impact on delivery rates. The service includes a domain survey with particular reference to elements that affect mailing. The vital elements of reverse DNS setting and SPF/SenderID records are also checked â€” without correctly configured RDNS and SPF records many mailservers will reject mail.

The report also includes a cross-check against spam databases which are used to reject mail from black-listed servers.

On the server itself, the report analyses sending from the Interspire server (requires username/password access to application) to characterise default send settings and mail headers. Bounce levels of sample previous mailings are assessed against typical performance.

Finally, we analyse any existing mail logs for indications of send-related problems (requires ssh access).
